What this course does, and does not do
This is a seven-lesson, text-only course about the adults' sleep during weeks 2 to 8 with a newborn. You will build a weekly plan, try it, and adjust it as your household's pattern changes. Each lesson takes about 15 minutes to read and 10 minutes to act on. You can do one a day, or one per evening over a week.
It does not cover your baby's sleep, feeding choices, or any kind of training. For all of that, and for safe-sleep questions in particular, follow your pediatrician's guidance. It is general information, not medical advice, and it cannot promise how any night will go. Newborns are unpredictable, and a good plan expects that.
How the course is laid out
- Part 1: this page, and Lesson 1 (anchor sleep).
- Part 2: Lesson 2 (shift types) and Lesson 3 (naps).

- Part 4: Lesson 6 (support asks) and Lesson 7 (review week).
- Part 5: three sample schedules to copy.
- Part 6: a two-page cheat sheet and a "when to talk to a clinician" page.
