Part 1: The stop-start practice card
For adults 18 and over. This card is educational and non-explicit. It is general information, not medical advice. Print it, fill it in, keep it private.
Coming sooner than you want is common. The stop-start method is a simple way to practice noticing your arousal and slowing it down. Many men find that short, calm, regular practice helps. Results vary, and nobody can promise one.
Before you start
- Choose a private, unhurried time. Not when you are drunk, rushed or very tired.
- Plan on 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remember the goal: noticing, not lasting longer. A session where you noticed something is a good session.
Your 0 to 10 scale
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 0 | No arousal |
| 3 to 4 | Clearly aroused, easy to talk, easy to slow |
| 5 to 6 | Strong, pleasant, still in control |
| 7 | Very high. This is your stop point. |
| 8 | Nearly too late |
| 9 | Point of no return |
| 10 | Ejaculation |
