How to Use Your Confidence Journal

Confidence is easier to feel when you can see the proof. This journal helps you collect proof in your own handwriting: things you did, things you handled, things that worked out. You are not trying to talk yourself into anything. You are keeping a record.

There are no big promises here. The journal is a way to notice what is already true about you, one small entry at a time.

Three tools

  1. The evidence log. Short entries: what I did, and what it shows about me. A skill, a quality, a habit.
  2. Small wins. A weekly page for five wins, however small. "Answered the email I was avoiding" is a win.
  3. The hard-week pages. Seven days of short prompts for when you have a big thing coming: a presentation, a conversation, a test, a week of doubting yourself.

A filled-in evidence log

Date: Mar 3

What I did: Spoke up in the team meeting and suggested a different deadline.

What it shows about me: I can disagree politely. I notice problems early.
