Part 1: Start here, and Lesson 1: Unit prices
Welcome. This course teaches the skills behind a low grocery bill, so you can build your own budget week and re-price it when costs change. It is six short text lessons, eight printable worksheets, three worked weekly examples and a two-page cheat sheet.
What this course does and does not do
It does: teach you to compare prices fairly, use store brands well, shop sale cycles, build meals around a simple structure, cut waste and use what you already own.
It does not: promise a specific total or savings. Prices vary by store and region and change often. Every price in this course is an estimate based on typical US supermarket prices, used only to show the method. It gives no nutrition or diet advice. If someone in your family has a medical diet or an allergy, adapt every recipe and plan to fit, and ask your doctor or dietitian.
