Method
- Stir everything together in a large bowl until it holds together when pressed.
- If it is crumbly, add 1 teaspoon of water at a time. If it is sticky, add a spoonful of oats.
- Chill the bowl for 10 minutes to make rolling easier.
- Roll into 12 balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
- Store in a sealed container in the fridge.
These are small, easy to carry, and not too sweet. One or two works as a snack on the way to a workout.
Swaps: use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version. Replace the dried apple with raisins, dark chocolate chips, or coconut. Use maple syrup to make them vegan.
Keep in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for 2 months.
