Welcome. This is a six-lesson written course on using AI chat tools at work with care for confidentiality and accuracy. Each lesson takes about 20 to 30 minutes and ends with two short exercises.
What this course does and does not do
It does:
- Explain, in plain English, what generally happens to text you type into an AI tool.
- Show you how to find your employer's rules and ask questions when there are none.
- Teach you what to keep out of a prompt, and how to rewrite a risky prompt into a safe one.
- Give you habits for checking output, and wording for labeling AI-assisted work.
- End with a one-page personal routine you can show a manager.
It does not:
- Tell you which tool is best, or claim that any tool is safe or unsafe.
- Replace your employer's policy, your contracts, or advice from IT, security, legal or HR professionals.
- Promise any career, pay or productivity result. It is about doing the same work with fewer risks.
